is changing. Though the registered name will be the same, we will go by Motorcycle R&R because the “repair” side of the store is no longer available. Congruently we will remain unique. The store was based on the platform of both customer service and social activity. That will not change. As the owner of Motorcycle R&R (Jeff Thurmond), I hope that if you had the chance to visit our modest store and shop, you were pleased and happy.
The last day of the store being open was May 7, 2010. My website will remain up and running to give information about the various motorcycle rides we do. The Saturday dinner rides will continue. The weekend rides will continue. The Ride Contests will continue. These are listed under the Special Events tab of this website. Since Motorcycle R&R is closed, these fun riding events will be part of the value added program of BMW Motorcycles of Utah. The rides will start at BMW Motorcycles of Utah, located at the SW corner of 90th South and I-15, close to where R&R is located. You can visit their web site at : http://www.bmwmotorcyclesofutah.com/
Over the past many years we have accumulated a wealth of information on fun destinations and riding routes and these will of course be available for the asking. I can also provide advice on various motorcycles you may be looking to purchased, new and used. This is advice only as I have no intention of getting into bike sales.
Jay Jamison (a/k/a/ Jammer) will continue to help out on the ride planning, and in many cases is the primary planner. We welcome emailing and also talking with riders who are looking for directions, suggestions of where to go and how best to get there.
We hope to see you on our dinner and weekend rides starting at BMW of Utah and please take advantage of the riding contests as these are great fun and have fantastic places to ride.
